HE IS JUST TOO ATTRACTIVE.
So I watched Shutter Island the other day, and then I re-watched Romeo + Juliet and honestly, it’s like all my 7-year-old self’s Leo love has come right back.
I cannot wait for Inception (stupid NZ movie release date)!

Fun fact - Leonardo DiCaprio was my very first celebrity crush. This was when I was 7, after my entire family (Mum, Dad and my 5-year-old sister) went to see Titanic, which in hindsight is kinda an odd choice for a family movie but there you go. I remember crying at the end of the movie not because Rose let Jack go, nor because hundreds of people died, but rather because I (in my 7-year-old brain) thought that Leo had died. Not Jack, but Leo.
I remember we would go to the house next door to my school (I can’t remember what for - maybe drama? This house was randomly owned by the school), and the walls were covered in posters by the senior students, and I remember always wanting to sit near or under one of the (many) Leonardo DiCaprio posters.
Also when I was seven, I remember that the senior students doing Young Enterprise made a ‘business’ selling stationary. Most of the girls in my year bought the Spice Girls letter sets (I believe the ones with Baby Spice sold out the quickest), but I bought the Leonardo DiCaprio one. I never actually used that stationary, come to think of it - Leo was much too good for any of my friends to receive letters on paper featuring his face in the corner. I wonder what became of it.
